Information about an art exhibition

I am joining an art group exhibition called 『TRANSITIONS』, it has held from 2019.6.25(Tuesday)-6.30(Sunday )at an art gallery ICA SPACE near the Higashi-Nihonbashi or Bakurocho station.

This is a collection of 24 international artists present “Transitions,” an exhibition exploring states of change.

Covering a range of motifs, the artists explore mysticism, anxiety, storytelling, body modification, the passing of time, anthropomorphism and much more. The artists, who come from Nigeria, the US, the UK, Romania, Australia and Japan, use a variety of mediums to develop their ideas.

My work is an installation using natural materials including bamboo(this is my favorite material)  and installed directly on the floor. Moving forward even lots of obstacles coming toward you is the concept. Also because of the exhibition theme TRANSITIONS, I decided to reuse my previous artwork materials and made something new from them.

The ICA SPACE is open 10:00-21:00 on Tuesday-Saturday and until 19:00 on Sunday.

I am going to join the opening party at 6.28(Fri) 19:00-21:00.
